DESCRIPTION:
Delicate shawl with a light weave handcrafted on an ancient Calabrian manual loom. This product, like the Ania cloak, is a novelty and is the result of collaboration and the recovery of the craftsmanship present in our territory. Made by the skilled hands of a local master weaver who carefully and attentively carries on the ancient traditions of our territory in textiles, with whom we are pleased to collaborate on this journey. A peculiar characteristic of this shawl, in addition to its softness and thermal capacity despite its lightness, is the presence of broom yarn, an indigenous fiber from our territory that we want to recover and bring back into vogue. The processing and extraction of broom fiber is done by hand, according to natural timings and traditional techniques, and is therefore zero impact, as well as zero km. A truly special fiber, very durable, precious, and 100% natural. To allow the artisan to create this masterpiece while respecting ethical timings, we have indicated a longer timeframe, so the creation takes between 8 to 15 days. This is yet another step in the creation of the Malìa brand, which we take towards the recovery of our traditions and the first creation of the new territorial supply chain project.

Characteristics of the fabric
Caratteristica peculiare di questo scialle, oltre alla morbidezza e alla capacità termica a dispetto della leggerezza, è la presenza del filato di ginestra, fibra autoctona del nostro territorio che vogliamo recuperare e riportare in auge. La lavorazione e l’estrazione della fibra di ginestra avviene a mano, secondo le tempistiche naturali e tecniche tradizionali ed è quindi ad impatto zero, oltre che a km 0. Una fibra veramente speciale, molto resistente, preziosa e 100% naturale.
NB: Any irregularities present in the fabric's weave (which do not compromise the shape and style of the garment) are attributable to the artisanal production and its uniqueness.
What happens at the time of the order
For us it is very important that despite the distance, every customer can feel at ease as if they were in our atelier: fulfilling your requests and creating a garment that satisfies you in every aspect is the most important thing for us.
1-You will immediately receive an email confirming your purchase, with a summary of the items ordered
2-Within 24 hours we will contact you, we will ask you for your measurements and if the item you ordered needs modifications based on your preferences or if you prefer it to be packaged in size, as shown in the size guide of the product page.
For measurements don't worry , you can refer to our Size Guide , or alternatively we can do a short 15 minute video consultation on WhatsApp, in which we will guide you in taking measurements correctly.
All garments are packaged at the time of order, this gives us a certain freedom during the packaging and creation of the models. We can customize the measurements of the garment according to your needs. Length, more or less tailored, width, made to measure is free and included in the price. For major changes to the models, please contact us before ordering for a quote.
Timing
Packaging times for an item may vary based on the complexity of the order. As a rule, an unmodified garment can be packaged in 3 - 7 days, while customized items have a slightly longer timeframe, 3 - 10 days. For orders with multiple items the times are slightly longer, 7 - 20 days.

Shipping and Returns
-SHIPPING IN ITALY
Shipments to Italy are the responsibility of the Customer for orders that do not exceed €110. The shipping cost is €7 (the price refers to standard shipping, premium would cost €12) and will be charged at the time of purchase. Shipments for orders over the threshold of €110 are free and paid by Malìa Lab. Delivery times vary depending on the courier and are therefore indicative. Normally the goods sent will be received in 1-3 working days. (except during periods of congestion, such as holiday periods)
-SHIPMENTS TO EUROPE (European Community countries)
The cost of standard European shipping is €18 if the cart amount is less than €250 and €6 if the amount is between €250 and €500. This sum will be charged on the invoice at the time of purchase. Shipments for orders over the threshold of €500 are free and paid by Malìa Lab. Delivery times depend on the courier and are therefore indicative. Normally the goods sent will be received in 5-7 working days.
-SHIPMENTS TO EUROPE (Non-EU Countries)
The shipping cost for countries not belonging to the community is €40 if the cart amount is less than €400 and €30 if the amount is between €400 and €800. This sum will be charged on the invoice at the time of purchase. Shipments for orders over the threshold of €800 are free and paid by Malìa Lab. Delivery times vary according to the courier and are therefore indicative. Normally the goods sent will be received in 5-7 working days.
Any customs duties and customs clearance costs are the responsibility of the customer
-SHIPPING REST OF THE WORLD
The cost of EXTRA European standard shipping is €45 if the cart amount is less than €400 and €30 if the amount is between €400 and €600. If the amount is between €600 and €800 the shipping cost is reduced to €25. This sum will be charged on the invoice at the time of purchase. Shipments for orders over the €800 threshold are free and paid for by Malìa. Delivery times vary according to the courier and are therefore indicative. Normally the goods sent will be received in 7-10 working days.
