The course ESPERIENZA is designed for participants of all ages and to have a first approach to discovering the techniques of manual weaving.

The duration is about 3 h in the afternoon, to be agreed upon based on availability of spots.

You will work on the frame loom, that is, a small loom measuring 50x50 cm that will allow you to learn the basics, the movements, and also to create a small artifact that you can take home with you.

The MACRAMÉ course is designed for participants of all ages and to have a first approach to the essential techniques that will allow you to achieve great satisfaction. We will learn together the main types of knots, so you can create various creations independently, following your creativity.

The duration is about 3 h in the afternoon, to be agreed upon based on availability of spots.

Number of participants per session: minimum 4, maximum 10. (the course is activated only upon reaching 4 participants)

The BEGINNER course is designed for participants aged 14 and up. No prior experience with the frame is necessary, just bring your manual skills and arm yourself with patience.

The duration is about 7/8 h, divided over two days, in the afternoon, to be agreed upon based on the availability of spots with the other participants.

You will work on the standard Calabrian frame, learn the movements, and we will guide you in creating a basic shawl or alternatively a rug. We will provide you with all the necessary materials, which you will naturally be able to take home at the end of the course.

The INTENSIVE course is aimed at those who have already had basic experience with the loom. Initially the basic principles will be reviewed before moving on to the creation of complex products. (If you have never had experience with the loom before, we recommend that you take the BEGINNERS course first)

The duration is approximately 15 hours, divided into three consecutive days or less, with the prevailing time being from 2pm to 7pm. (It is possible to agree differently based on the availability of the participants.)

You will work on the standard loom, you will learn the movements and we will guide you in the creation of a shawl and a carpet, both with an advanced weave (with complex processes and designs), with different types of finishes. We will provide you with all the necessary materials which you can naturally take home at the end of the course.

The MASTER is the highest level course we offer and will help you to be completely independent in using the Calabrian loom. It is aimed at those who already have a medium-high level of manual skill and knowledge in using the loom and want to improve for themselves or even to start a profession. (If you have never had experience with the loom before, we recommend that you do the BEGINNERS course first and then the INTENSIVE before doing the master)

The duration is approximately 20 hours, divided into 5 consecutive days or less, with the prevailing time being from 3pm to 7pm. (It is possible to agree differently based on the availability of the participants.)

You will work on the standard loom, you will learn to create the warp and respond to all possible situations that can compromise your work. We will also guide you in creating advanced textures, with different types of finishes. We will provide you with all the necessary materials which you can naturally take home at the end of the course.
