Yesterday was a special day. In the magnificent setting of Sila, in a beautiful town like Lorica which overlooks the splendid Lake Arvo, we were awarded by Coldiretti as regional finalists in the "Networking" category. Malìa not only obtains regional category recognition, but enters the national finals of the "Green Oscars 2019" which will be held in Rome!
It will be a great honor to represent our region and above all our idea and our brand at this event. I would like to symbolically share this recognition with the other participants, who presented innovative and sustainable ideas, all equally deserving of praise and recognition, just to demonstrate if there was still a need, that the primary sector can and must act as an innovative driving force and engine. not only in Calabria, but throughout the country. The Malìa project continues... it evolves and slowly reaches all the objectives that had been set: the recovery of the broom yarn (native Calabrian) and its inclusion in our collection was one of the reasons why I chose to return to do business in my land. Over time, thanks to the rediscovery of the territory, we thought it was a shame not to recover raw materials destined for disposal, such as the wool resulting from breeding for dairy production. A special mention therefore goes to Vincenzo Abbruzzese's BioSila company with which we began to "network" precisely in the recovery of farmers' surpluses. Finally, immense thanks go to Coldiretti Calabria , a national organization that is finally attentive, punctual and precise in the territory, driven by real values and concentrated on helping all producers, from the smallest to the largest without discriminating anyone, committed above all to stimulating the exchange of ideas and encouraging networking, a focal point for the development of new businesses: networking, although difficult in a region like ours, is essential to present yourself stronger and with more structured ideas on the market. For a large primary sector made of ethics, sustainability, love, innovation and respect for the environment and those who live in it.
Good day from Malìa.
