Precious and characteristic American placemat, handcrafted on an ancient Calabrian manual loom, with the traditional art of "Pezzara". This particular and versatile technique involves weaving strips of fabric into the pattern. A way to recover and give new life to worn sheets, tablecloths, and fabrics, a classic example of circular economy from ancient times, brought to the present day. Product resulting from the collaboration and recovery of the craftsmanship present in our area. Made by the skilled hands of a local master weaver who carefully and attentively carries on the ancient textile traditions of our territory and with whom we are pleased to collaborate on this journey.
The dimensions are approximately 35 cm in height and about 50 cm in width excluding the fringes. Made with yarns recovered from excesses and disposals of large cotton companies.
The result is a design accessory for the home, with a recognizable style, elegant and above all durable and of high quality, to combine taste and functionality. Inspire your table with the elegance and warmth of this pezzara American placemat.
To allow the artisan to create this masterpiece while respecting ethical timelines, we have indicated a longer timeframe than other processes, therefore the creation takes 7 to 14 days.
This is yet another step in the creation of the Malìa brand, which we take towards the recovery of our territorial traditions and fits into the regional supply chain and craft school path that we have been pursuing for a few years and which will soon have new and great developments.

Made with yarns recovered from surpluses and disposals of large companies, in a wool and cotton blend, for an ideal result for the autumn-winter season, thanks to the thermal properties of the yarns.NB: Any irregularities present in the fabric's weave (which do not compromise the shape and style of the garment) are attributable to the artisanal production and its uniqueness.

2-Within 24 hours we will contact you, we will ask for your measurements and whether the item you ordered needs adjustments based on your preferences or if you prefer it to be made in size, as stated in the size guide on the product page.
Don't worry about the measurements, you can refer to our Size Guide, or alternatively we can have a short video consultation on WhatsApp lasting 15 minutes, during which we will guide you in taking the measurements correctly.
All items are made to order, which gives us a certain freedom in the packaging and creation of the models. We can customize the measurements of the item according to your needs. Length, more or less fitted, width, custom tailoring is free and included in the price.For more significant modifications to the models, please contact us before placing an order for a quote.
The packaging times for an item can vary based on the complexity of the order. As a rule, an unmodified item can be packaged in 3 - 7 days, while customized items have a slightly longer timeframe, 3 - 10 days. For orders with multiple items, the times are slightly longer, 7 - 20 days.

Items without modifications: 3-7 days
Customized items: 3-10 days
Multiple orders: it depends on the number of items, up to 5 items 15-25 days, over 5 items 20-40 days.
Shipping in Italy is at the Customer's expense for orders not exceeding €110. The shipping cost is €7 (standard shipping, premium would cost €12) and will be charged at the time of purchase. Standard shipping for orders over the €110 threshold is free and at the expense of Malìa Lab. Delivery times vary depending on the courier and are therefore indicative. Normally, the goods sent will be received in 1-3 working days. (except during congestion periods, such as holiday periods).
The cost of standard European shipping is €22 if the cart amount is less than €400. Shipping for orders over the threshold of €400 has a fixed cost of €15. This amount will be charged at the time of purchase. Delivery times depend on the courier and are therefore indicative. Normally, the shipped goods will be received in 5-7 working days.
The cost of shipping to countries outside the European community is €40 if the cart amount is less than €400 and €35 if the amount is over €400. This amount will be charged at the time of purchase. Shipping for orders over the threshold of €800 has a fixed cost of €30. Delivery times depend on the courier and are therefore indicative. Normally, the shipped goods will be received in 5-10 working days.

The cost of standard EXTRA European shipping is €55 if the cart amount is less than €400 and €48 if the amount is between €400 and €800. This amount will be charged at the time of purchase. Malìa Lab has no control over these amounts, nor is it able to estimate them in advance.
In case of refusal of delivery or failure to pay customs fees, the package may be returned to the sender or abandoned. In this case, the refund amount will be deducted from the costs incurred for the outbound shipping, the return of the package, and any additional charges applied by the courier.
